Destiny 2 Season of the Lost Now Live!

Destiny 2 Season of the Lost is now live, bringing a ton of new content and a glimpse of the next DLC.

The new season brings many changes, though the most anticipated one is the next DLC, the Witch Queen. With Mara Sov's return, Season of the Lost will begin the prologue for the DLC, where players will venture to Savathun's Throne and maybe finally end the curse on the Dreaming City.

Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher

In addition, Season of the Lost will contain a special 30th Anniversary Event to celebrate 30 years of Bungie games. The Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher will be returning after persistent begging from fans of the Exotic weapon, and Bungie has finally answered the call. In addition, the event will contain an end of year celebration that includes a new 6 player activity Dares of Eternity, as well as new dungeons. There will be callbacks to other Bungie games as well, including items from Myth and Halo.

Radiant Dance Machines

Season of the Lost also brings a variety of new exotic weapons and gear, with more to be confirmed as the season progresses. So far, we know Guardians will be able to obtain the Radiant Dance Machines, No Backup Plans, and Nothing Manacles exotic armor, and the Ascendancy Rocket Launcher.

In addition, Guardians can enter the Prophecy Dungeon, often considered the pinnacle of end game dungeons. The level design and progression have left their mark on Destiny 2, and now Guardians will have the chance to take this dungeon on and get their hands on Weapons of The Nine.
