With a new season of Overwatch having just begun, it's time to get your placement matches in and climb that ladder to the top.
With a new season of Overwatch having just begun, it's time to get your placement matches in and climb that ladder to the top. Unranked players are vying for that top tier, while the pros settle comfortably back in to their Golds and Platinums.
While Season 28 doesn't bring much in the way of new content, the new competitive season should keep players busy while the Overwatch Dev team is hard at work on Overwatch 2. More details are expected soon, but for now, players can look forward to teaming up and shooting for the top.
This season should also see the return of the Anniversary event, which has typically started in mid to late May and is right around the corner. If you've been holding out for a special cosmetic item, now's the time to start grinding for those coins before the event is inevitably gone for another year. (Having recently switched to the PC version of the game, I know I'll be aiming for that Cruiser D.Va skin!)
And finally, the Overwatch League may have just concluded, but matches will be starting back up next week, so you can log in and support your favorite teams!
